St. James is thrilled to offer special events designed for the youth and families of the congregation! At these events there will be a meal and time for fellowship aswell as activities for the children!

Souper Bowl of Caring

St. James will be participating in the Souper Bowl of Caring again this year. Last year we collected $644.80 and 246 non-perishable items, let’s try to beat our score and collect more this year! There will be collection bins for money as well as canned goods in the narthex for the next few weeks. All donations will be given to the Verona Area Food Pantry. Lets work together to tackle hunger in our community!

Upcoming Family Night Dates

Friday, February 10, 5-7 pm: Family Night, Theme: Love

Highlights of the evening include a pizza party, music, games, crafts, and cookie decorating.  Please sign-up in the Narthex by February 8.

Tuesday, February 21, 5-7pm: Fat Tuesday/Mardi Gras Youth Fundraiser

Join us for a special meal on Fat Tuesday, February 21, as we raise funds for the Middle School & High School youth and their upcoming summer mission trips.

The meal, prepared by a local chef, will inlcude Jambalaya, Chicken Etoufee, red beans and rice along with child-friendly fare. 

There will be special activities for children, including face painting and mask making. All are welcome!
