Mission Trips

Summer Mission Trips are a tradition at St. James Lutheran Church.

In July, 2011, two separate groups of High School students traveled to the Lower East Side of New York City to work at Trinity Lutheran Church. Their days were spent helping prepare, serve and clean up a meal offered to the homeless. They also had a little time for sight seeing and enjoying the city.

Past Highlights

In July 2010, 43 youth and adults traveled to Guatemala on a 10-day Mission Trip.

In October of 2010, 10 adults traveled to New York City to work at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lower Manhattan preparing and serving meals to those in need.

In July 2009, youth traveled to New York City work at Trinity Lutheran Church.

In July 2008, youth worked on a ranch in Colorado.
